Hello,

I was given this very early Exposure meter along with a Kodak folder, back in the late 1950s.

It has survived in my possession all these years and the many moves. Sadly I don't have the camera anymore.

I haven't been able to find anything on this exposure meter or the company.

Anyone ever seen one like this?

It has windows at the top, with a sliding column that lines up the f/stop and shutter speeds with the windows.

Direct Exposure Meter - Made by the Direct Exposure Meter Co. San Francisco, Cal.

The Kodak name is printed on the upper right hand corner in very small letters.

Thanks,

Looks like an extinction meter. There were numerous types. This is what mine looks like.
