I have a Canon P and have affixed a hacked Nikon minus 2 diopter to the viewfinder so as to avoid using eyeglasses when shooting. I push them up and then put my naked (slightly myopic) eye to the finder. This seems to work better for me than fighting the eyeglasses / frameline business. Anyway I am thinking of a wide angle lens (21 - 28 mm) so I will need an accessory finder. Am I correct in thinking that I will need a diopter on that as well?

Doubt it, the accessory finder just widens the field. Kinda like looking through a peephole in a door.

On my multi focal length accessory finders, of which I have quite a few, I would like to have diopters for them, because everything is fuzzy without my glasses. No problem leaving my glasses on to see the rangefinder, I just need to see the patch. Then I have to lift up my glasses and get my eye up close to the viewfinder and hope I can make out my subject and compose. It's ridiculous.

I suspected as much -- I used some removable double faced tape to hack a diopter on my Canon P and 7 -- I guess I will do the same on the accessory finder.
