Just got this Samsung NX300, APSC 20+mp. This is my third Samsung NX . Very happy with .the first two, despite awkward viewfinders. The view from this NX is fabulous . This particular model has a very bright screen with movable position..for example at an angle as shown or at waist level (like a Rollei). I like that a lot!

Samsung decided to get out of the still camera business so these are all orphans.

I bought this one used from Bay, rolling the dice. It arrived a week later (Florida to New Mexico). Got a great deal$. Took the risk to take better advantage of several extraordinary Samsung lenses.

My earlier APSC digital is/was a Pentax 20D, a rugged and waterproof brick with several Pentax DA lenses. I have compared letter size B&W inkjet prints made with that camera and found it to be equal to Canon 5D, not quite 5D2. That Pentax, with Pentax primes has been excellent for my favored 13X19 B&W inkjet pigment prints (Canon Pro10) that couldn't be more detailed at that size with MF film. Bottom line: prints from these orphaned Samsung NX cameras/lenses are technically equal to Pentax APSC and undoubtedly from any 35mm film camera.

Wet darkroom work has its charms but from a technical standpoint digital/Photoshop/inkjet wins.

Rear tilt, thats always handy.
I bought my wife an nx awhile ago and the 60mm macro, great lens. Sadly she prefers her Samsung phone.....you try your best.
Enjoy your shopping.

I bought a Oly Ep1 when they first came out, retail was $1600 I got it for $1200, be lucky to get fifty for it now. Their are some nice pancake primes for the mirrorless. I got my wife a second hand 3000 when they were still current, the 60mm lens was more than the camera, great portrait lens, but my wife is technology dyslexic. She took it on a trip to the UK and always had trouble with the wifi. The latest phone cameras are enough for the average consumer, quick and easy to load up pictures of your shopping to social media. Too much photography becomes formulated by camera programs and apps.
Film cameras and equipment is a far better investment if you know what your buying, unless of coarse you use them in which case the materials will keep you poor.

Just switched from that NX300 , which I returned, to NX500 which as the INCREDIBLE AMOLED screen (fine in outdoor glare) AND 28+ MB.and a bunch of other remarkable apps. I've got some wonderful Samsung zooms and primes that work on my NX1000 (arguably pocket size) as well as the NX500. I doubt I'll ever want NX1.

....AND two of my Pentax film-era primes ( 50/1.4 and 85/2) produce beautiful bokeh, that's easily previewed, on that AMOLED screen..all that's necessary is a cheap NX/PK adapter (BAY). The genius inside the NX instantly previews at most apertures without any darkening when stopping down, when set at A and S. Only drawback is lack of optical image stabalization (OIS) in those Pentax lenses...not relevant at large apertures in most lighting conditions.
