I bought a Oly Ep1 when they first came out, retail was $1600 I got it for $1200, be lucky to get fifty for it now. Their are some nice pancake primes for the mirrorless. I got my wife a second hand 3000 when they were still current, the 60mm lens was more than the camera, great portrait lens, but my wife is technology dyslexic. She took it on a trip to the UK and always had trouble with the wifi. The latest phone cameras are enough for the average consumer, quick and easy to load up pictures of your shopping to social media. Too much photography becomes formulated by camera programs and apps.
Film cameras and equipment is a far better investment if you know what your buying, unless of coarse you use them in which case the materials will keep you poor.
