Hi y'all (I'm from Texas, habit, sorry!!)

I'm in the process of purchasing a Hasselblad 500 C/M right now, and I've come across two variations when looking on eBay.

There seems to be a *500C/M version:

And then more normal version, the 500C/M:

Would somebody please explain to me what the differences are? I can't seem to find any information on Google...

Thank you!

I believe that the question was not regarding the 500c and the 500cm, but rather two cm variations, the "*500cm" and the "500cm". What is the significance of the * in front of the 500cm? What does it designate? I have seen this variation myself and am curious about it
