In my experience, working pros no... all processing sent out. Time was better spent shooting or finding work. "Fine Art" photographers, yes... printing, in particular was part of their shtick.

As an amateur it takes too long usually to collect enough exposed rolls for a batch so I send it out. The result is that I do not have to spend several days printing out all the prints on the roll just to review them.
