Well they were gone a couple years ago. They must be resurrected. Ah, they are now designed in California. Not the same company, now a brand.
They once had a facility in Chatsworth CA, which I believe was manufacturing as well as corporate offices. At one time some products were made in USA and others (4-digit bag numbers) were made in China. Then they moved to Marina Del Rey. That address, I believe, is corporate offices only. I never heard that they ever “went away”.

You’re likely right that they transitioned from a company to a brand... but who hasn’t? Build a great company with great products and sales figures to go with it... and sell for a real profit. It’s the American way.

Most of my Tamrac products are from the earlier era but still they seem to have exceedingly high-quality merch.
