I am bit disappointed to see pics, which does not have any blur or distortion. Rather it is sharp and almost like Triotar wide open.
I am thinking to get one soon...

My daughter will buy a Diana mini white pretty soon - she's impressed by the chance to get 72 pictures ... I'll have a look and see.

I have been using my Diana 110 camera with 400 speed color and 100 b&w for a landscape project. This one printed with all its grainy, distorted goodness at 16x16.

Must be a thousand places that could look like that but....
It looks like a shot from a beach on the east side of Hornby Is. looking east toward Texada is.
Was that shot with the 24mm lens or the 12mm lens?

Photo was done from Sooke, BC on Vancouver Island with the 12mm, Fukkatsu 400, pushed to 800 and converted to B&W in Silver Efex.. Aiming west out over the Pacific ocean. I'll pull some scans from the project after the holidays. I still have a fair bit of Fukkatsu 400 speed film. Alongside my trusty Kodak Ektar and Pentax Auto 110, I'm in all my 110 glory.

Picked a Diana Mini here. 110 seems good but cost is bit too high for daily photographs.

Also picked up a Diana Mini 110, I think they're now called Baby Diana 110. Out of the box it did not work, but I got it so cheaply I figured I'd just take it apart and see if I could fix it. Got the shutter to fire, only one speed and no B, but it's fine. Loaded up some old Orca 110 cartridges with Kodak Double XX 16mm single perf and did some experimenting with the wide angle lens (I think it's 12mm). Attached a Fritz the Blitz and played around. If you're up close and personal, it works okay, but anything at a distance more than about four feet the lens really falls apart.

When I get a chance I'm going to try the 24mm lens and see if that does better. Fun little camera though.

Best,
-Tim
