Developing or camera?

I am getting a lot of this since I recently started using a monobath. Sounds like I need to beef-up my pre-wash routine and try smoother inversions (I tend to just flip the tank over)

I have never done inverting, but rather rotational agitation. I find inverting to be too leaky and messy. It works fine for me and I very rarely get any problems even with C41 and E6 processes.
