I believe my body when it tells me that anything that comes out of that end is meant to keep on going, not to return any time soon. One can argue that there is a pretty good probability that at least one of the molecules of my body was once part of a stone-age man's urine. Sterility is not a guarantee of potability, nor is the opposite a necessary prohibition

There is a book, "Caveman Chemistry", that describes in entertaining manner many primitive processes . One of them uses urine in the formation of dye. I have a developer formula that I jokingly call Cat-P-Tea. It has catechol that we also find in urine and the Pyrocat series.

I'd think male urine is better suited for 'stand' development

I don't know about that. One young "lady" is said to have demonstrrated how she could fill a beer bottle without spilling a drop by letting it run down her leg and off her big toe. The "gentleman" who reported that was prone to whoppers.
