If anything, it would make matters worse. But realistically, it won't make a significant difference.
The curl should disappear by simple flattening of the sheets with negatives under pressure over time.
FWIW it seems like CHS100 ii might be ORWO UN54 emulsion coated onto PET base. Obviously I don’t know this for sure, only Adox can (and won’t) confirm, but the spectral sensitivities are remarkably similar. Could be worth taking a look at developing times for UN54.
I don’t think it’s repackaged film, but I do think that Invusicoat is coating the sane emulsion on PET film base for Adox, with added anti-halation dyes.
I just developed my first roll of Adox CHS 100 135 film in FX-39 II 1+9. Wow, this is a really nice classic looking film! I was using it with the Canon FD 50/1.4 chrome rim lens, and the two paired well. Totally old school charm.
I didn't know it earlier, and it seems it is out of stock everywhere in the US.
