I'm mixing up 'Formula 22' (Microphen-type developer) from Anchells 'Darkroom cookbook'. Anyone out there got a starting point developing time for HP5 rated at 1600. Can't seem to find any info on times in the archive. As an option I may try some ID-68, but I still need a dev time. Any clues? Many thanks, Blights

Apologies! I forgot to add; is it viable as a one-shot option or is it going to be a stock-solution job?

Can't really help you here but if I were doing this then would start using a one-shot mix and because "Microphen type" dev I would take time for HP5 in microphen (One shot dil) rated at 1600ASA as a start point.
Sorry could not be of more help.
Regards
John

That is, of course, if there is a time for one shot in Microphen at 1600ASA, If not in stock.
