Denver Meet-up II

Last time it was in Downtown Littleton, now we are shooting for August 11 in the evening with the location to be decided. Let us know if you are interested and where you'd like to shoot.

Labor day weekend! I will be around. Not sure if its anyone's cup of tea but it is also the everyone's favorite Taste of Colorado weekend with only a few people attending!:eek:

No, didn't mean that Mike! any of the weekends would be great for me except the 24th-27th. Going down to Taos for the art festival and a little vacation so 1st or 2nd weekend sounds great.

No worries... there's always something going on. So, we are shooting for Sept 11. Still need discussion about a location.

We could hit downtown Englewood or the Antique district (on Broadway)... State your preferences!

Ok, that' what I thought and light rail is just north of there too! I haven't done to much street shooting lately and I think I need to after seeing some of Mike's (mathomas) pics I am excited to get out and do some again.

mathomas does do great street work! He's got a great eye. Just to the east are some great neighborhoods with lots of old houses. So, there are a lot of possibilities in that area (including the Gates rubber factory).

Gates Rubber Factory is a great place to shoot. I shot a bunch there when I first got my Canon 30D. Would love to go burn some film (maybe even color!) in that area again. I only wish I was daring enough to try to get inside

I'm reviving this thread again, just to get it back in front of folks... We are looking at meeting on Saturday, September 11, 2010 around the Gates Rubber Factory on Broadway. We can come up with a specific location and time closer to the date. If anybody has a better date, please let us know (Cheryl?)! I look forward to another great shoot!

Great idea of meeting at DPP David, I think that's a great place to meet. It is close to the gates rubber factory that some have stated interest in. I think it's perfect. What do you think Mike? Any no votes on that? If we can agree I don't mind calling Travis to set something up unless you want to Mike. How about a time? I think it would be cool so shoot from late after noon into sundown. Say 5pm-7ish? Maybe meet at DPP around 4 and head out around 5? what do you think?
