For some god information about HC110 to help you decide go to this site:

http://www.covingtoninnovations.com/hc110/

That resource recommends HC110 for high contrast negs and XTOL for Normal. Also Dil D (1-39 from syrup) if your development times are under 5min. The site has mixing and dilution charts, history and other usefull info.

I will have to say I have tried Delta 400 in both Rodinal and HC110 as well as XTOL and PMK. I agree with the previous posts that either XTOL or PMK is better overall. In high contrast HC110 holds its own. I would get blown highlights with Rodinal 1-50, but stand development or greater dillutions may work. I am just not a fan of Rodinal in fast films.

thx jorge!

I've persoanlly opted for xtol 1+1 for delta (my primatry film) and rodinal 1+25 for tri-x, fuji, and fortepan

rodinal can be a harch mistress for tabular films, even tight ones like tmax 100

Lee, you dont do well on comprehension tests now do you? :D

huh! :D

I have used hc110 and rodentall and I don't like either much. PMK is a better deal for me. That's all.
