Yes indeed I am sorry and apologize. I was quite confused as I was sure you sold the camera to someone else after we had a deal (I saw your post here that it had been sold, but I thought it was to someone else).

If you prefer to sell the camera to someone else though now I understand. Jon and I have transacted without issues in the past - he's reliable - no worries there.

Can you be sure it went for that figure? It was offered a that price and few days later had a bump from the seller ( a reminder and not a physical bump) then it was closed to further replies. At least that's what it says on the link you gave us. No mention of the word SOLD

Yep, here's another one which went for $700, also over 2x of this one. I understand that some people are attracted to a Zeiss logo, but I gather that many are actually preferring the 3.5 lens... Anyway, prices seem to be all over the map, to an untrained/uneducated eye.

There are different f/3.5 lenses -- some Rolleiflex have Tessar (type), some have the Planar. The Planar seems to bring a premium, even over the f/2.8.

I have the same model Rolleiflex with a CZJ Tessar lens, and I paid $75 for it. If you are willing to be patient, and keep your eyes and ears open, these cameras can be had for far less than they often appear on the open market. On photography sites, they tend to be over-valued, for obvious reasons.
