Hello All,

I apologize if this as been repeated, but I would like to know the proper definition of a traditional Carbon Print. I am not referring to the digital carbon inkjet. Also I was wondering if I can get a link to a photography terms and definition website.

Thank you for you time and help.

[I don't think this is another Scarpitti alias, Bruce].

This is a good description with links and more detail--

http://www.edinphoto.org.uk/1_early/1_early_photography_-_processes_-_carbon_print.htm

Here's an article by none other than Andrew "Dagor77" Glover on the Carbon Process, with links to descriptions of many other historic processes--

http://www.alternativephotography.com/process_carbon.html

There's also some good info over at bostick-sullivan.com on various alternative processes.

I'm sure Sandy King has a scholarly bibliography at hand on the subject.
