I'm looking to replace my flatbed scanner with a more 35mm dedicated scanner, hopefully one that will keep the curly Tri-X negatives more flat. I'm looking at a model of the Plustex. Does it matter which one for these purposes?

Sorry about this. I forgot I had another thread on the same subject. This is what happens when you get old.

I'm at the point that I forget faster than I learn; It's downhill from here but downhill should make it easier again:laugh:

About six months ago I was frantically looking for my checkbook. Turned cushions over, looked under the car seats, kitchen, bedroom, it wasn't to be found. I looked at least two hours off and on. I have a Corgi and always keep plastic grocery bags in my left hip pocket to pick up after him in the yard. After taking him out I reached back to pull out the bag and guess what was there? My check book.
