your right. so many places call a camera rangefinder only to find out later that it is not
the 7sII sounds pretty awesome. i think i'm going to try find one in black. anyone wanna sell me one ?![]()
1970s fixed lens rangefinders would fit the bill with the added advantage that you can't buy more lenses in the future thus saving you money. My four suggestions: Konica Auto S3, Olympus 35RC, Minolta Hi-Matic 7SII, Canon QL17.
Nice thing about the Canon LTM's is they are made well, reliable and reasonably priced but would run over your budget.
The lenses are very good and reasonable also.
What's a good model out of the LTM series?
You'll see a lot of posts about a seller on ebay named 'interslice' who sells kits. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be active anymore
What do you guys think about a zorki with a jupiter 8 f/2 for $60? offered to me by a member of this site and supposed to be in great condition. is a zorki a good first rangefinder?
i think im going to go for it, can anyone reccomend me a cheap light meter to use with it?
If you are going to go with the offer from jnanian make sure you download a manual and have a good read first, essentially a simple camera with a couple of quirks you want to be aware of.
