Dean Collins Roll Film Standardization

Hi all

I was recently watching an old video from a Dean Collins seminar which was mainly about light manipulation, but in there he made mention of a process he developed for processing standardization of his B&W roll film.

Unfortunately there wasn't any discussion of the technique, just a passing reference.

Is anyone familiar with what he created for this process?
