Cleaning out the darkroom today and I came across a package of Photographer's Formulary Amidol Developer. The chemicals are in individual, sealed, poly envelopes and all look fine except the amidol. It's a dark gray. I have no recollection of when I bought it, possibly even the late '90s or early '00s. Could it still be usable in the kit?

Thanks

How dark is dark? My Amidol (I'm sure it's good) is very close in tone to a Kodak Gray Card. Easy way to find out is to mix it up and make a print.

Hard to argue with common sense. Now to find some good negatives for it.
Thanks!
