I'm attempting to try DBI with my 11x14 negs and would like to here from some ULF'rs that process DBI with brush developement specifically. I have been processing in tubes, but would like to give this method a try for better density controll.

I have the wratten#3 filter, gloves, foot switch. How much developer? I'm thinking 400ml or so.

Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike.

I use this very method for 8x10 and 7x17. 400ml is fine for 8x10 (one shot) but it won't be enough for 11x14 so I'd try 700 - 800 ml at least. Pyrocat is cheap so go for too much rather than not quite enough.

Good luck.
