Thanks. That'll be some pricy shipping, but if I knew I'd be working with large format in the future, it'd be worth it.

I just discovered the attachment is a side arm. This video (just a slide show with discussion of the tripod) shows it in use near the end.

I have this model tripod and a word of caution; DO NOT hover over the center post when loosening it from a low position, as the center column will fly up and hit you in the face, jaw or throat, its a killer, I tell you!

Seriously, I found this out when I first went over the tripod, which is really stable, though for out of doors work, I suggest you cut some stabilizing planks into small platforms for keeping the tripod from sinking into sand, mud, the grass, etc.

The huge flat top head is great, so long as your camera is not seeing its foreground and a 4"x5" LF is not too much for it, at all.

Saw this. I changed the "flag" to "Sold", added "Withdrawn" to the title and locked the thread.

We could use a "Withdrawn" flag.
