I've got a serious case of darkroom GAS at the moment -- fortunately my lack of funds is keeping my spending to a minimum.;-) That, and knowing that I will be leaving France in six months. However, I'm seriously considering a move to the Middle East for my next job, most likely in the UAE, and I was wondering about the availability of darkroom supplies -- everything from chemicals and paper to developing trays and enlargers. I've already got most of what I need but I would like to know from anyone who currently lives there (or has recently done so) about the cost and availability of supplies there. I'm especially interested in buying a second-hand englarger (up to 6x7), and of course, papers and chemicals. The reason I'd like to know now is that if they are not so readily available there, then I would start stocking up here, and bring/ship it with me when I go.
