Hello,

With the onslaught of digital technology it seems to be getting harder to track down darkroom products. Does anyone have any online suppliers they could point me towards please.

Anyhelp very much appreciated

Kind regards

In the UK there is:

Silverprint (www.silverprint.co.uk), RK Photographic (www.thedarkroom.co.uk), Firstcall (www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk), Nova (www.novadarkroom.com) and Process Supplies (www.process-supplies.co.uk).

These are the ones I have used. I tend to buy most stuff from Silverprint as they have the largest stocks and the widest range so I don't have to split orders between suppliers and pay for two or three lots of postage... Firstcall have the best prices on Kentmere paper so I generally buy that there.

Cheers, Bob.

I have used second hand darkroom for gear and Ilford papers/chemicals. The price of chemicals etc. is good but the range is limited. Gear is dearer than ebay but there is a 6 month warranty, can't fault the enlarger I got.

All of the other suppliers mentioned are also excellent, for the more interesting stuff you can't beat retrophotographic imho

Dont forget MORCO. though their mininum delivery is £6. Had exelant service from them. For film try Mathers of Bolton again exelent service ( ordered at 4pm. Friday with me at 8am Saterday) Dispare not there are lots of materials out there in UK, easily available via mail order, unless you are very lucky and your high street is better than mine.
Regards Paul.

Thank you so much that's great really helpful

If you get a chance pop into Silverprint, it like Aladdin’s cave. I paid them a visit for the first time last week and left with a considerably lighter wallet
