I picked up a lens off eBay for a pretty good price. It was a bit of a gamble since the photos weren't too detailed and the seller wasn't a photo guy, just got it at an estate sale.

Anyhow, everything seems to work normally. No marks on the elements, no haze/fungus, aperture ring snaps nicely, etc. I'm developing a test roll shortly.

My one concern is the aperture blades seem to have a dark spot on the tips. I've taken a photo so you can see what I mean:

Will this cause an issue over time? Is this something a "CLA" with YYeCamera/Golden Touch would resolve for $100 or so? Or is this a really bad thing and I should just return the lens?

Thanks!

Awesome, thanks everyone. Glad this isn't the "oil on aperture blades that will gum up your lens" that I read about.

It is probably a hint of oil, but looks like the amount is well below the 'danger' threshold. - David Lyga
