I don't most of the time

I too like the sounds of the darkroom

I also don't. I have enough trouble as it is keeping track of time of prints in trays with just the sounds inside my head. With good music playing, I'd be completely lost.

When I get a dedicated darkroom, I'll see about better timers (better timer displays) that might allow for bringing in the music. Maybe.

When I have music playing, I am involved with the music.

In the darkroom, I'm involved with the magic of the process and frustration with my limited mastery thereof. I suspect, for me, that music would slow my progress.

Same here. I've tried listening to music in the darkroom, but I find it distracting.
