After some delay (self inflicted due to failing memory - i.e. forgetting to bring it to work to post at lunchtime five days in a row!) the camera is now on its way to Jake (Black Dog).

I have asked the nice postman not to let anyone have it until he gets a signature.

The currently not broken Canon will be on its way to its next victim on Monday.

Note: I didn't say which Monday!

I think I'm winning. My second shot was rushed, so I'm going back in about 3 weeks to re-shoot... but this time with the 5x7 or 8x10. 35mm gets it done, but larger contact prints have so much more feeling.

I just sent Ralph a PM to check on the status of the Nikon (8.1). He told me a little while ago that he took the shot, so hopefully the camera will reach me shortly for processing & scanning. Looks like we may have both cameras at the finish line at around the same time!

OMG - Black Dog has finally figured out the Sure Shot is a rare and valuable collectors item. Well, at least it has more frequent Flyer Miles than any of us.
