"Daniel Kramer, a photojournalist who captured Bob Dylan’s era-tilting transformation from acoustic guitar-strumming folky to electric prince of rock in the mid-1960s, and who shot the covers for his landmark albums “Bringing It All Back Home” and “Highway 61 Revisited,” died on April 29 in Melville, N.Y., on Long Island. He was 91."

Side note: is that a Contax rangefinder hanging on the cover photo of Highway 61 Revisited?

It's a Nikon SP, so you're close.
Mr. Kramer did a great deal of good work in his long life, may he RIP.

As I am a subscriber, I am quite aware that non-subscribers cannot read the articles. What I don't know is what you want me to do about it 🤔.

Rest in peace. Nice to know his name and face. We have been enjoying listening to Ballad of a Thin Man a lot recently.

Not a thing. Thanks

Links to stories behind a paywall are like wrapped presents that turn out to contain an IOU 😄 .
Anticipation, then disappointment!
There is nothing you must do when you post one, but including a warning about the paywall helps soften the blow 😉.
That being said, if the story you read is worth sharing, please don't hesitate.

Noted. Thanks.

Got it !

I've often posted from the New York Times, one of the few newspapers, with The Guardian, that talks about photography and photographers. Knowing that many people aren't subscribers, what I generally do is post an excerpt of the article as well as one or more photos, part of the message being that if one is not a subscriber but is interested by the subject, one can always Google to find more info.
