I'm awaiting on the arrival of a 1873 JH DALLMEYER NO. 5 WA LANDSCAPE 15" BRASS LENS W APERTURE ASSY that is missing the flange mount.

Does anyone know the size of this mount?

Thanks in advance...

it might help if you measure the diameter of the (threaded) mount, and - with help of a thread gauge - measure the thread pitch (I've answered this on your same question in LF forum)

Thanks, Ron. I'm still waiting for the lens to arrive, but have ordered a thread gauge in the meantime. Just hoping someone here might also have that lens or know the dimensions.

Thank you, Rod. I inquired and they didn't know, but can make one for me if I send the lens to them. I'm checking now on a more local option, but will keep SK Grimes in mind if that falls through. Many thanks..

Can you measure the diameter, I think it's the lens in the bottom left list.

Somewhere I have a catalogue (PDF) that includes Dallmeyer flanges. I think that lens diameter is 2 5/8" so it's probably a 3" flange around 24 TPI. I just checked my Dallmeyer 2B which is 2¾" diameter, but it's in a rack & pinion focus tube and a 3¼" flange.

3" 24TPI flanges were quite common I have a 17,5" TTH RR, and a 20" RR both 1890s and a mid 1950s 12" Wray Lustrar all fit the same flanges.
Have you looked to see if you can find your lens in the Dallmeyer Archive. I found two of mine and photos of Alec Strachan who assembled my Stigmatic.
