hallo

i have done it last night.i took my new book (darkroom cookbook) and
i mixed it. now im so surprised (because it works:smile:)

but now my question:
how long is the shelflife of the mixed developer (1:1)

24 hours, give or take. Sometimes I'll stretch two evening sessions out of it, but it's asking a lot. The dev time goes up and contrast goes down, but I'd only do a contact sheet with old dev like this. Finished work always gets fresh dev.

Congrats!

I always get a little thrill when something I've made works....I guess that's part of the fun of mixing up your own and doing your own processing.

I made D23 a while back. it still works. it's pretty cool because there's only two things in it. I'm interested to experiment with it.

i stored it in a tight blackk bottle.
about longer times i dont worry.:D
about the contrast i will see :confused:.
