Zeiss Conversion to a 6x12 camera using a 65mm f/8 Super Angulon in an indexed focusing mount for scale (or Zone) focusing. The camera has a permanently mounted Arca Swiss plate that also serves to keep pressure off of the lens and helical while it is in your camera bag. The removable 21mm finder is masked down to the proportions you will get on film.

I have been doing these conversions for some time, some of my other cameras can be seen here if you are interested: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dirkfletcher/albums

The camera ships ready to shoot with everything you see here as well as the Arca safety screws if you shoot mostly on a tripod. I remove them as the camera is small enough and light enough to be shot hand held, with the screws on the Arca plate, the camera won’t sit flat on a table, counter or ground. The box for the finder and two sets of shims for the 120 film are also included.

Unlike a lot of the (really cool actually) 3D cameras that are available, this is truly built to withstand the rigors of professional use. Wherever possible, the camera uses stainless steel hardware that in most cases is then covered with a metal epoxy to ensure nothing shifts or moves over the years.

$1250 net plus ship.

Thank you for looking!

I'd love to have one of these, but I doubt you'd take my car in trade if it's even still worth that...

Just posted to eBay at $1389. Bump to $1225 here (w/o eBay seller fees), net plus ship. Thanks for looking!

This is a great deal but I don't do that format.
I do not know if you know that the buyer on eBay pays a 12.5% commission based on the price paid+tax+shipping, they really make it hard on the buyer and, with stuff over 1K it becomes a deal breaker.
I think it should be illegal to charge commission on tax and shipping but, so it goes.

This is crazy, where are you located, I’m assuming not in the states. If the camera sells on eBay, I get charged 15% and the buyer has to pay sales tax but not a ‘buyers’ fee of sorts.

That does seem at the least immoral let alone illegal…

My mistake, yes, it is the seller that pays but it is not 15%, or at least it was not the last time I sold something there.
I paid a 12.5% commission on the total of sale price+tax+ shipping.
After that I never sold there again.
They might have been sued and stopped that practice.
I live in NYC and TX and have done business with you in the past, you have forgotten.
all the best

HAH! I thought the name was familiar, you bought my fathers Capa books and some other stuff in the past! Hope you are doing well! *B#y is much too expensive these days, you litterally need to mark up to sell there vs selling on a forum or the old fashion way, word of mouth and face to face. It’s a dying practice, that’s for sure!

That being said….any interest in a custom built 6x12 camera available for immediate ship?

No, I have accumulated too much stuff and do not seem to be able to sell any, I have 2 cameras on Photrio with no takers and E bay is not an option.
You will sell it, just be patient and keep on bumping it.
