Hi! Your recipe doesn't use HAS. How long does it last or how many rolls can we develop with it?

If you are referring to the formula in post #21, I have only used it one-shot.

Although it has no HAS, it has enough sulfite in it that unused, it will last several weeks in full, glass, tightly sealed containers.

I found it to give good quality results on the few C-41 films types I tested, but I recommend you try a test roll to see if you are happy with the results before using on anything important. I have not tested it on a large number of film types.
 
I wrote that article and yes, the colors quality depend on pH but it was a mistake to say that pH rises with temperature, on the contrary!
Dignan 2-bath developer does work but there are several problems still to be solved. It doesn't last for ever as claimed, a 500 ml solution will develop some 10 rolls. 2.nd bath composition will depend also on film type and so on. I am still working on it to establish a protocol. But it has some advantages.
