Looking closely at the attached jpg. of the camera in question, I noticed that the bellows looks much larger or taller than a standard Crown Graphic. The bellows, coming out of the camera body seems to be touching the top of the inside of the camera.
Usually there's about an inch of space between the top of the bellows and the inside of the camera. This camera is an earlier model than the ones I'm personally familiar with. Is there a possibility that there is an explanation of why the bellows look the way they do in this jpg.? About the only thing I can think of is that perhaps there is some sort of rear rise on this camera. This is the only picture I have of this Crown Graphic. The camera is currently in Detroit, Mi.

Thanks!

Looks about right to me. I had a Crown with Kalart side rf for a long time. I think the flash on the camera shooting the picture flattened everything out.

Looks pretty normal to me, from the picture, there is about 1/2 inch spacing around the bellows, the perspective seems to be flattened on the picture a bit.

Measure the inside of the bellows and the direction oriented. Post it here and I'll measure my two.

Is that a 4x5 camera? or, perhaps one of the several smaller format crowns? If it is one of the mini crowns, it may just be an issue of relative sizes.

Anyway, I think it looks about right. The bellows is racked way out - much farther than would normally be necessary with a 127-150mm lens at kind of reasonable subject distance. maybe why it looks strange. The belows is tapered.

Looks very similar to my 4x5 Graflex pacemaker which does not have the "starwars light sword" flash. Those look like 4x5 filmholder. Just used my Pacemaker in the field today. Can't wait to see if the chromes come out!

It doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it. In fact, it looks like a pretty decent kit. Just a crappy photo, that's all.

Thanks everyone. I'll post a report when it arrives. I've never actually checked out a Graphic with the side mounted range-finder which Tracy pointed out is a bit different from the top mounted RFs It has a 152mm Ektar lens which the seller said is properly coupled to the RF. And jonw, post those chromes!
