Yeah, I don't think that this is a fair line of criticism at all. He has made almost monthly updates on his progress. If you wanted to find out more information, just go to the campaign site. While I am slightly disappointed that the project is behind schedule, I still believe that we will have an awesome product in the end.

Agreed, disappointed as well, but nothing I didnt expect for a single person working out first time kinks in the process. This is not a development team, its an individual person.

The only people that get put off by it are the people that didnt order one in the first place. Not sure why.

When things don't go right, it is the other side of a venture that really shows who stands behind it, and this silence is not good at all. Even if you have all bad news described somewhere else, you never bothered stating any on this forum, and I am sure quite a few orders were placed because of this discussion.

That is completely unreasonable. Did you contribute? I did, and have received regular updates on the progress. The delays are a bit disappointing of course, but perfectly understandable considering the circumstances (which has been explained). The timer will be even more capable than I imagined, and will most certainly be a very useful tool in my darkroom.

My point is : what happened to the stamina and ferocity that so on display when orders where needed? It takes no time to come into a thread that delivered actual orders.

I don't recall the developer ever posting directly to this forum. A lot of the initial posts came from you and about your direct communication with him.

He did post here originally once a few people had questions but were not backers to ask him directly. After the initial questions, he stopped posting here and only updated on the campaign. Not sure why thats an issue, if you are not a backer getting updates on the campaign, why the concern I guess..

I am indeed a backer, an very early one, and my issue is that this thread delivered some orders, perhaps too much to ask. I had personal exchanges with Can at that time as well and everything was going well, same when he was responding to this thread, so I don't think I'm out of line expecting similar approach for the follow ups. In fact I was a little stunned by lack of anyone asking within this thread.

To be fair, I have eventually gone to crowdfunding site and while things appear to be somewhere with light in sight, last update was in mid December and some promises made in that one have not been followed through. But I do understand there were setbacks unrelated to actual product, so am more patient now.

I'm not particularly upset about delays either, which I had expected anyways, and am happy to see the progress that is being reported. At least things appear to be done really well and a professional product being put together. One can only hope things will come together after the new year.

I don't believe any have been delivered to date. Last update seemed like there were still third-party parts not being up to snuff.
