Hi,
My wife wants to work on photographing her collages involving photos, cutouts and materials, and so far she hasn't had a permanent solution to the setup with the Mamiya. So the question:
What is a good way to hang this brick of a camera at a 90 degree angle in as vibration-free and solid a way as possible? Our field tripod works with it, but as a copy stand, it's on the light side and fights the setup too much.
Taller is better, as one of her current projects is poster-board sized. It looks like I will have to spring for the 110 lens somehow, to give her the correct 'neutral' view, and to avoid her using the Mamiya zoom which weighs a ton itself.
People have mentioned Durst and other brand enlargers as possible stands, so if anyone can chime in on those, please do so, both in terms of suitability and length of throw.
I have searched and found plenty of stands, none of which seem tall enough or sturdy enough for the hefty 67, so any and all advice on this is gratefully accepted.
Thanks,
Claus.
