copla Shutter sizes

Hi I need to make some lens bards for a couple of cameras and some spares but I am not sure on the sizes (diameter) from 00 to 3 or 4

There are charts with the hole sizes for various shutters at skgrimes.com, Copal and otherwise.

You sure that it's not a 0 you need? 00 is even smaller.

Was there even a Copal 00 shutter? Compur made a 00 shutter. There isn't a Copal 4 either, but there's an Ilex 4. I think I have a Studio 4 shutter, which is much larger than an Ilex 4. These numbers don't necessarily translate from one manufacturer to another, but a Copal 0, 1 or 3 is about the same as a Compur 0, 1 or 3.

There were Compur 00, 0, 01, 1 and 2 shutters, and Compound 3, 4, and 5 from the same factory. For a short while there was the Compur Electric 3, and Compur Electronic 5 too. I believe Copal reduced the selection to 0, 1, 3, and 3s.
