As far as I can see those are mechanically identical, the diffence being the digital controller, thermostat and perhaps a differently rated heating element. Has anyone successfully converted it, especially the 230V variant? Any tips on a successful/unsuccessful conversion, even the 110V model, would be much appreciated.

Why? Spare parts for the 230V version of 210 are no longer available, as it is not made anymore (the US 210M is still available but with different spare parts) while 250 ones I can easily get. My thermostat is not great anymore and the switch blew on me last night. Thank you.

Sure why not. The digital temperature controler doesnt care what heating elements its hooked up to, its just a switched relay system that turns the heater on n off at a set temp.

Who has told you there are no more parts available for the 210 in 230volts?

Mr Mark Pillon, Spare Parts Coordinator for D&K Europe, who has reached out to D&K HQ in US to thoroughly check the parts situation. Masterpiece 250 is supported with parts, but the 230V version of Masterpiece 210 is no longer. In the words from D&K US HQ:

Unfortunately, we do not have the international heater. The TS6299013 is for the US domestic machine and is used in the US model that has the temperature control board. The only part that we have that this customer could use for the international machine is the sponge pad. At this time, we can’t sell the parts for retrofit. Unless the customer can find a machine like this on somewhere like E-bay that may have parts for sell, he may not be able to get them.

In any case, I am happy to let you all know that I have resolved the issue by buying an unused, still-crated, Masterpiece 550 230V. It is rather huge, but works very well, with far more pressure than I got from my previous two presses, the Seal 210 and a Bogen 500.
