Contax G2 and infrared film

Am hoping to use my trusty Contax G2 for Infrared shots - probably using Efke IR820 or Rollei IR film with a Heliopan 665 filter.

Is it possible to use IR film with the G2, or does the infrared film rewind sensor cause problems?

Advice welcomed.

Hi Gavin,

You get some fogging in the sprocket area from the frame counter. It doesn't affect the picture area.
