I have an Aria that automatically rewinds after about 3-5 frames. It seems as soon as the slack is removed from the roll the camera rewinds. The "u" piece that holds the roll in place seems jammed it will not turn at all. Is there some trick to unjamming it? Is there anyone left who will repair these? It is a beautiful camera and I an anxious to use it so any help would be appreciated.

Is there anyone left who will repair these?

A good question.
Fortunately for you and me as well as for many here, there are some still left.
But, you haven't said which part of the WWW you are in.
So, can't help you in nominating a repairer.

There was a thread just a few months ago about pretty much the same problem as yours, but in a Minolta.
This might help you: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum52/144752-problem-minolta-maxxum-9xi.html

I've had the same problem as yours in a Nikon F80. It was sorted by cleaning the take-up spool and running a test roll a few times.
Good luck!

I did that and it still rewinds. I am going to ship it off this week to Mark Hama.
