Is there a way of contact printing wet plat collodion? My idea is to take a digital photograph, make a 8x10 sized transparency, then lay that over the tintype. Would the plastic transparency stick to the wet plate and ruin the process? If so then my other idea was to make an ambrotype on a glass plate, flip the plate over and place the transparency on the glass side, then expose. I would prefer the tintype for convenience, however.

I originally planned making a 35mm BW slide through reverse processing, but from reading it seems like it takes a while to master and I'm worried about the resolution limits.

Did anyone ever reply to you? If not, Mylar is the "trick" to this. Coat the tintype. Carefully place the Mylar on top of the coated plate. Expose. Remove Mylar (can't really be reused), and develop plate. The dig neg can then be reused as often as needed.
