Just for thought... If "big oil" and Dick Cheney et all are and have been squashing the advent high MPG vehicles and "Tesla Free Engergy" cars??

Then how come Kodak et all didn't quash the digital imaging technology and industry?
How many tens of thousands of jobs have been lost and altered due to this paradigm shift? Dark forces! I believe there are some.. but they do not wield the power some give them credit for.

2) Film photography has been hurt by people holding wireless phones next to their heads. The only way to avoid this damage is to make a four sided pyramid aluminum foil hat with a braided ground strap tied to a hard earth ground.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories as i need to have concrete evidence for anything whether its bigfoot or ufos...I'll leave that for the history channel to figure out!
I know at least when it comes to the motion picture digital mediums aren't too big a threat to billion dollar industry, that is why photographic film is the still used. sure there a couple "digis" here and there, but still at some point there is a print-out or intermediate process on 35mm/S16mm. funny but has to do a lot more w/ insurance reasons than anything else. video storage systems and hard drives can fry or be hacked if you wave a big enough magnet in front of them. film is just much more trustworthy and I wouldn't doubt our good ol' friends in Rochester know that.

Yes, it is essential. The ground strap completes the Faraday cage. Without it, you have no protection and, in fact, a tinfoil hat could actually amplify RF signals beamed into it.

This is true! A grad student at M.I.T. performed research on this and proved that improperly constructed tin foil hats amplify radio signals.

Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason.

Of course, there are conspiracy laws, sending people away to prison for decades. So there must in fact be actual conspiracies afoot somewhere.

But the problem I have with "government conspiracies" (secret UFO bases in the desert, reverse-engineered alien technology, covered-up lunar alien artifacts, massive prison camps being built for future incarceration of the populace, etc., etc.) is that this is the very same government that can't seem to manage to keep anything very secret for very long, can't seem to manage any long-term program without severely botching it up, can't fund any secret program without going 1000% over budget, etc. In short the government can't manage to conspire to do anything efficiently that we know of, so how can we trust them to orchestrate these mind-bogglingly complex conspiracies in secret?

Of course, to the true Conspiracy Theorist, lack of evidence of a conspiracy is proof positive that it exists, proof that the cover-up has succeeded.

Tin-foil hats, that's for amateurs. Steel wool inside a cap of metal screen door material, with a hem of copper foil - that's the ticket.

I personally know Niel Amrstrong and Gene Cernan... I won't speak for Neil he is a man of Huge integrity, so if he was told to keep a secret I think he would. As for Gene, who has been to the moon and back twice, and walked there once... I think if there was something to hide he would have spilled the beans by now. He is a true space cowboy.
That being said I have NO doubt both these men walked on the moon.

I really don't understand what you are trying to say... not that I really want to know if you are saying we never went to the moon.

My dad worked on the lunar rover, built parts for it. He had no knowledge what the parts went to at the time. We were watching a moon landing, when my dad jumped from his chair and ran up to the tv set and yelled "I made that part right there!" and pointed to a piece on the rover. I shouls add, we lived in Los Alamos, N.M. at the time, and the management never told the employees what they were doing, just gave them instructions or a drawing and told them to make it. Oh ya, there were armed guards at the entrance to town when we first moved there, but were gone when we moved away in the late 60's, and machine gun towers were being torn down.

The camera in my phone has more mega pixels than my digital camera.Ironicly APUG has mobile access.
