Thanks, Donald, but I have enough of the things to use one as a template. The tinkerer in me wants to reinvent the suckers but I have to admit to having far too many projects to get involved in another one right now (Yes, dear, I will replace the kitchen cabinets this week.) Fortunately, I have a (retired) tool designer as a brother-in-law who may be up for a fabrication challenge.

I have an etching press, so I can roll sheet metal into a form and then use a small break to fold the sides. Shoudn't be hard.... ( he says as he ignores his wife's plaintive cry " Noooo Whitey, not another project!)

They say that the drug companies are working on a sequel to Viagra: Projectagra, which keeps a man from starting a project until he's finished the last one. Hope they fail.

By the way, I have one two-sided 9x12 film adapter that is labeled Filmel, Boston. It's a bit long for the camera I have and the flange is a bit thick for the channel on my Rietzschel Clack. I can make it work, but it may be better for someone else. If anyone is interested, I'll post specs and a photo. No charge but postage if someone can use it.

BTW, if anyone needs plate holders for the Voigtlander Avus 9x12 or any of its German cousins with the same back, the Fotokor holders fit, and are really cheap. I got mine from Alex-Photo on the auction site.

What about the double sided variety, do they fit the European cameras? I'm trying to find ones that would fit an Ihagee Duplex 9x12.
