A long while ago, I couldn't resist it.

I know, it always starts like that.

A Watson half plate. A proper English Watson,
313 High Holborn St. London,

Circa WW1.

It had no lens when I acquired it,
but a 6" Ross Combinable came into my life at about the same time,
and it is a happy partnership. Although if I had any sensitivity,
I would replace the Ross with a Watson Holostigmat.

It rests upon a black Gandolfi minor tripod when it has to go to work.

I modified a 4x5 Deardorff back to fit the camera,
taking the place of the plate back. Shameful.
