I have a condit film punch numbered 7F1023, whose base is approximately 7 1/2 inches by 9 1/4 inches. Because the guide for the long side is adjustable, my guess is that it is designed to handle both 4X5 and 5X7 film. Two questions: 1) am I correct in my assumption of what it is designed to do (pin registration for both 4X5 and 5X7 film?) and 2) any idea of ballpark value? Thanks in advance, Bill Barber

As long as the pins are not beyond the length of the film, you can use them for any neg, even a 35mm if you have a strip of film to mask.

I have several of these and negative carriers. When they were new they were quite a penny. But now you are competing with others for price. I have a couple of the competitors but think the Condit punch to be of very superior quality.

If you want to sell it, you might get $100 out of it.

If you think to use it, you may get quite a bit more value from it.

Cheers,
