I am looking for tutorials and lessons on studio lighting.
Even though I would prefer something more advanced than an introductory approach and the very basic one-two lighting set ups, I wouldn't shy away from any of them as I there is always something to learn even from things you thought you knew well. I like to experiment on my own and find the right lighting by just using my eyes and have not memorized any set ups and ratios. But sometimes lighting is less important than the subject matter which may require a straightforward approach. There, I lack the formal training and experience to get the right lighting quickly.
I have looked at a few youtube videos.
I have checked out a couple websites.
And I have books on lighting such as "Lighting for portrait photography" by Steve Bavister, "Photographing People" by Rotovision and a few with old Hollywood star portraiture.
How about DVDs?
Anyone knows a video or a series with comprehensive, detailed and rich instructions on portraiture and fashion?
