Hey I have a compound shutter on my 360mm and I've lost one of the little caps that screw on the side to control the shutter speed. Missing the shutter fires quickly, finger over the hole and it fires correctly.
What are these called? how hard are they to find?
Thanks

You might have to send it to SK Grimes and have them machine you a new one.

You might try contacting Carol Miller at Flutot's Camera Repair in California - she may be able to provide one from a dead shutter.

While SKG can certainly machine one for you, I'd think a competent machinist in your part of Oz could do the same, especially given that you have the second cap to use as a pattern. And if you go that route, you may as well get two or three made, the major cost of machining will be in the setup.
