Hi,

I have a beseler enlarger timer BS4500 and I'd like to get a footswitch.
Anyone knows which I should consider? And in particular is
the gralab footswitch compatible? From what I can see the plug looks like
it won't fit the timer but maybe just a re-wiring would do? Apart from the Beseler
footswitches are they others that are compatible?

thanks
jf

I built a footswitch for my homebrew enlarger timer.
Cost about £10 IIRC.
If you can find an appropriate connector, building one is easy.

EDIT:
I've just googled the timer. it's rather an odd connector, from the photos I can find.
without seeing one in the flesh, or at least seeing a detailed photo of the connector, I can't say whether you could bodge a plug up easily or not.
Alternatively, the timer could be modified, and a more common socket added.

The zone vi solid state timer foot switch should work. Does with the 45vc timer and audible timer.
