brief summary: Acros - excellent, uniform crystalls, easy to scan

Tmax100 very good, easy to scan but the crystalls are not uniform, they may look like dust specs

Lucky100 - not good, poor antihalation coating, the film attracts dust due to excessive static

Maco100 and ilford fp4+ similar, but fp4 has better antistatic properties

Kodak plus-x -- better than fp4 - higher resolution and sharpness, easy to scan

Delta 400 - grainier than t-max, scanning is ok

hp5+ uniform crystalls, easy to scan

tmax400 - low grain, doesn't attract dust, easy to scan

Rollei r3 - uniform crystalls, huge dynamic range, but tends to curl

Ilford 3200 is smoother than kodak 3200
