Got this yesterday. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271384589454?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l264

NOS in the box. Warehouse paper is stamped 1943, sales receipt is 1955. Included a catalog found stuffed between layers of the box. !955 Wards 102 page photo offerings, everything for Leica to 4x5. Very complete catalog.

Federal Cold Light 269 2 X 3 and smaller with glass carrier. Uses a common 8" round fluorescent tube. Shown projecting 2 x 3 neg to 8 X 10 at 13" lens to print. Image is of Elwood 5 x 7 parts, now wall mounted and working great.

A $10 accessory was a box to both hold it and act as a base. I will make that box.

Ac12, a wood-working friend of mine is building me both an over-the-toilet work table, and a folding set of shelves that I can stack in the shower (I don't have a bath, just a 28" shower stall) to give me a better work environment. The shelves should be big enough for 2 8x20 trays each, or one 11x14 trat each. They'll be 40", 30" and 20" height. So when working on larger prints I'll have to squat down for the fix, but should be okay for the other two stages. When working with 8x10 trays my back should be fine.

I instructed in a community DR using B-22s. The B-22 non XL column enlargement factor is limited as an easel aligned to the verticle hits the column. You can not correct for verticals as you can with a Durst 601.

My B22 came with a 2 blade 8x10 easel. And it looks like there is plenty of room for vertical alignment on it. But, I got spoiled using nice 4 blade 11x14 easels in class, and when one came up cheap locally, I picked it up. I see what you mean about the vertical being an issue. It takes up almost the entire base even in the landscape/horizontal position, limiting my ability to rotate/straighten my prints. I think it'll JUST fit for a vertical print, so long as I don't have to rotate at all. I'm kind of bumed that my wonderful easel is too big.

I've warned my wife, the next house (we aren't planning on moving anytime soon) will have space for a permanent darkroom where I can install a big enlarger
