Coming back to old school

I'm done with digital for my creative outlet. It's okay for the point and shoot stuff, but I need more for the creative bug!!!!

So I've dusted off the Nikon stuff and am re-learning it all over again and I must say I'm loving it!!!!!! The juices are flowing again and the ideas are popping.

I'm a 52 year old Ozark Hillbilly from SW Missouri USA. Navy Vet and an IT Professional (go figure). I shoot a Nikon N8008 and might be looking for a "Pro" soon. B&W has always caught my eye but so does Nature and Landscapes. It's going to be interesting to see where I go. I'm also into Airguns, hunting and fishing, miniature wargames.

About the hillbilly thing -- I am from Iowa myself. But as Lyndon Johnson used to say, "when anyone tells me 'I'm just a country boy myself,' I look to see if my wallet is still there." And LBJ was a country boy. I have a nice Nikon digital with all the bells and whistles but digital just doesn't ring my bell. I have more film cameras and junque than I can count and love every one of them.
